Artist’s Statement: These are five photos I took three years ago, at the first Women’s March on Washington. The series title, “Demands,” sums up each photo’s title. Three years ago, a woman wrote the words of the last photo, “Hands Off My,” on a piece of poster board. As we approach the fourth march, women may still be writing, saying, or screaming “Hands Off My,” a demand that has been left unsatisfied.
