Glitch by Alex Berman

Artist’s statement: At 15, I sometimes struggle to fully inhabit and sit comfortably with my evolving identity. As it continues to develop, as I continue to discover who I am, I often feel just slightly out of focus. And even with some tweaks and adjustments (why this is primarily a pencil drawing), I can’t always get the picture to focus clearly. And sometimes, when I think I’ve figured it out, there’s a glitch that throws that identity out of focus again.
