Tova Meira Oberman -1 post

Tova Meira Oberman is in 13th grade at Ulpanat Talia in Jerusalem, Israel. She likes learning languages, ASL in particular, and enjoys reading and beatboxing in her free time.


Yael Beer -1 post

Yael Beer is a sophomore at the Abraham Joshua Heschel High School in Manhattan, NY. They are a soprano in the Heschel Harmonizers and in Hazamir. Yael is an avid reader and loves to to learn about history, algebra, science and philosophy.


Yael Perlman -1 post

Yael Perlman is a rising senior at The Ellis School in Pittsburgh. In her free time she enjoys writing for her school newspaper, running, and taking pictures.

Yoela Zimberoff is a senior at University Prep in Seattle, Washington. You can find her among the trees, lost in a book, or wandering the streets of Seattle.

Yvonne Liccione is a first-year student at George Washington University. Yvonne likes tea, dancing, and singing along poorly to the guitar solos in her favorite classic rock songs. She is passionate about learning, activism, and using her voice for a purpose. When she’s not researching, writing, or hanging out with friends, she loves to find new ways to express herself through fashion and makeup.


Zeynep Bromberg -1 post

Zeynep Bromberg lives in Brooklyn, where she is a junior at Stuyvesant High School in New York City. She is a member of her school’s theater community where she loves to act, dance, and sing, and she is also a director on her student union. Much of the time you can find her at her synagogue, where she teaches Hebrew school to 6th graders and is an executive advisor on her youth group.

Zoe Lanter

Zoe Lanter is a senior at Los Angeles Center for Enriched Studies in Los Angeles, California. She is editor-in-chief of her school newspaper, LACES Untied, and active in her school’s speech and debate, mock trial, and quiz bowl teams. Zoe seeks to create change by amplifying others’ voices, and advocates for learning through narrative.

Zoe Oppenheimer is a senior at Stuyvesant High School in New York City. She is very involved in student journalism, and dedicates a lot of her time to her school newspaper. Zoe's hobbies include photography and baking, and she has spent an inordinate amount of time perfecting her meringue recipe.

Zoe Zakson is a freshman at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, studying film production with minors in Chinese and French. Zoe hopes to become a comedy writer/performer one day and is a member of the Second City Conservatory in her free time. She loves to talk about politics, languages, cultures, religions etc. and is so happy to share knowledge of her Jewish heritage with others.
