Hi! My name is Cara Marantz, and I am a 17-year-old senior from Chicago, Illinois. When I am not working with jGirls+, you can find me being an active member of my community. I am on my school’s varsity volleyball team, on the executive board of March for Our Lives Chicago, and the president of my synagogue’s youth group. I love helping to make a change in the world around me and hopefully create a better future for the generations to come. I’m confident that with jGirls+, young Jewish females like myself will have a platform to amplify their voices and be able to express whatever they feel, and I am so happy to be a part of it.
