    Carolyn Kettig is a professional actor based in New York City, where she has performed at The Public Theater and helped develop new work with brilliant playwrights at the Atlantic Theater Company, Playwrights Horizons, Rattlestick, WP Theater, Ensemble Studio Theater, and The Hearth. During high school, she participated in teen programing focused on social justice work and research with Ma’yan. Fast forward many years and her connection with Ma’yan led her directly to jGirls+ Magazine, where she develops and oversees programming, organizes community events, strategizes with members of the jGirls+ teen staff and adult staff, and spends a lot of time on Google Drive. She is a native New Yorker and holds a B.F.A. in Acting from SUNY Purchase. In her free time, she enjoys reading a good book, going for a swim, making dinner for friends, and taking photos on her film camera.
