
Deborah Meyer is the Founder and Executive Director of Moving Traditions, whose award-winning programs, Rosh Hodesh: It’s a Girl Thing! and Shevet Achim: The Brotherhood empower thousands of Jewish teen girls and boys to question gender restrictions and make meaning in Jewish community. For more than 25 years, Meyer has built change-making organizations for women and for the Jewish community. In addition, for four years she helped manage a private Jewish Montessori pre-school. Meyer holds an M.A. in Communication from Emerson College. She writes and speaks about gender, Judaism, and inspiring teens to find meaning in Jewish life.
