My name is Eva Strelitz-Block, and I am a proud Austinite and senior at the Liberal Arts and Science Academy (LASA). I am passionate about reproductive justice, community issues, and social science research. I love learning about people’s differing perspectives on current events and the world. This is my third year as the commentary section editor of the LASA Liberator, and I love the challenge of tackling hot topics and writing the staff stance for each issue. Tiny but bold, I am also a varsity coxswain for the Texas Rowing Center’s competitive crew team. In my free time I can be found reading, listening to podcasts, and bossing my little brother around (for his own good).
