Hi! I’m Isabel Lewinstein (she/her/hers), and I am a member of the class of 2024 at Needham High School in Needham, Massachusetts. You can find my poetry in the 2021 Scholastic Silver Key Writing Exhibit at Tufts Libraries Omeka. I also enjoy journaling and writing essays. In particular, I find the most meaning through passionate activist writing. Social justice is one of my most important values, and I consider myself an advocate for reproductive rights and feminism, among many other things.
Besides writing, music is my passion. I play the viola in my school’s select orchestra and in Camerata Strings at the Rivers School Conservatory. When I’m not practicing viola, I run my school’s art and literary magazine, Even a Rag Like This.
