2023–24 Vocal Point Cohort Member
My name is Jada Cohen, and I am a member of the class of 2024 at Gann Academy in Waltham, Massachusetts. Since I entered high school, my passion for music has grown. I have been teaching myself to DJ and play instruments, and I love creating positive energy through this universal language. I also enjoy history, analyzing contemporary literature, and writing current events essays for my school's publication.I've played volleyball since freshman year, and this year, I'm the captain of the varsity team. Additionally, I have served as a student ambassador at my school and co-founded the Senior Connections Service Club, a club that brings volunteers to a local senior living home to spend quality time with residents. Through these leadership positions, I have learned a lot about collaboration and empathy, and I look forward to further developing my public speaking and listening skills through Vocal Point.
