Hi, everyone! My name is Madison Hahamy, and I am a first-year student at Yale University. I am from Glencoe, Illinois, where I attended the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy in Aurora, Illinois. I am a bibliophile who loves reading, writing, and research of all kinds. I served as co-editor-in-chief of my school’s newspaper, the Acronym; co-founded my school’s chapter of Coalition Z; was a member of my school’s feminist club, BELLA’s; and outreach director for my school’s book club. I am also a Write On for Israel fellow, a two-year Israel advocacy program. Science-wise, I participate in a research project with some of my classmates where we research quark and lepton compositeness at Fermilab, a particle physics laboratory. I’m so excited to be a part of the amazing jGirls+ community!
