My name is Naomi Kitchen. I am a senior from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Two years ago, I attended Alexander Muss High School in Israel for two months. It was one of the most amazing, transformative experiences of my life. I went to Jewish day school until eighth grade, and then began attending an intercity public high school. I play field hockey in the fall, and participate in many school organizations such as the newspaper and Global Minds. Global minds is an organization that promotes the integration of ESL and refugee students into the mainstream school community. In addition, I attend Hebrew and Judaism classes once a week. I am passionate about traveling and exploring different cultures, Israel, current humanitarian crises, and my local community. I am so excited to work with jGirls+ magazine and am grateful for this incredible opportunity.
