I’m a senior at Fairfield Warde High School, located in Fairfield, Connecticut. Throughout my life I have lived in many places, but I am happy to call Connecticut my current home. I am one of the founding members and hold a leadership position for the Students for Music Club at my school. In this club we organize benefit concerts to raise money for students in our neighboring town to take music lessons and have access to instruments. I compete on my School’s science bowl team and I play the viola in our symphonic orchestra. I fuel my passion for science during the summer by attending advanced space academy.

In my spare time I love playing with my dogs, keeping up with politics, and I write as a way to collect my thoughts. I am a self proclaimed tea enthusiast, I have an awful habit of naming every small creature I come across, and I love teaching others based on my experiences. I’ve completed a fellowship with the Religious Action Center, where I learned how to be an effective leader for change. While I have many dreams for what I hope to do as a career, the overwhelming aspect that drives all of them is a desire to help people and improve the world to the best of my ability, which I hope I can begin doing with my time at jGirls+.
