March 2019: Show Your Rant

  • What inspires your persistence?

  • What sparks outrage in your soul?

April 2019: Recipe for Resilience

  • Who are your resilience role models?
  • How does memory give you comfort and guide your actions?
  • Is home a soft landing or does home complicate your experience in unanticipated ways?

May 2019: Creating Beauty

  • What’s your style?
  • What’s your definition of “ugly”?
  • Is imitation flattery or a cop out or both?

June 2019: In honor of LGBTQ+ Pride Month, our theme is “Jewish & LGBTQ+”

  • What is your experience as an LGBTQ+ Jewish girl?
  • Who are some of the LGBTQ+ women/people in your life who have inspired you?

jGirls Magazine accepts submissions on an ongoing basis from from self-identifying Jewish teenage girls ages 13-19. You can submit articles, essays, fiction, poetry, humor, photographs, music, videos, artwork and other creative materials.
