Theme: Identifying Yourself

Late Winter

  • What identities do you name when someone asks you to describe yourself? What do you not share?
  • How does the environment you’re in affect how you self-identify? Are there identities that you possess that you’re still coming to terms with?
  • If you’re not comfortable exploring these questions in a nonfiction piece, perhaps try writing a piece of autofiction or creating a drawing, painting, or collage. (This is just a suggestion – we will review pieces of all genres!)
